According to ABOLA, Uretta wants a move to Peñarol on loan. I think he is a great player but it would be hard to play him because of Coentrão and di Maria. He seems very promising and I think with regular football he could of been part of Uruguay's World Cup squad. He still has a slim shot but he would really need to impress over the next few months and obviously play regularly. Lucky we didn't loan him to Braga at the start of the season but I am hoping he stays because he provides great depth, we all saw what he was capable of against Porto. I actually rather him over di Maria, what does everyone think?

I don't think he should leave. He can play on both sides which is useful for depth and if Jesus needs a flat 4-4-2 he'd be great on the right like we saw last season. His passing, decision making, and finishing are already better than Di Maria's, so I hope Jesus takes that into consideration whenever Di Maria is off form.

Not to mention his speed. This kid is lightning quick! During the Porto game he made Fucile look like his shadow.

Peñarol have said there is a 90% chance Uretta will join on loan in January

I really hope if he leaves this doesn't bite us in the ass.

That's too bad, his game in the Carlsberg match wasn't bad either. I think we're losing a lot of depth if he leaves.

Urreta has been loaned to Peñarol. We just lost heaps of depth but I hope this will help his World Cup dreams come true.

I read that he is getting looked at for the World Cup squad. That would be great if he got his wish since that's what the loan was for.

I read that too, if so I will be watching Uruguay for sure.

It looks like Benfica could be one of the most represented clubs in South Africa.

Urreta has been loaned to Deportivo la Coruna for the upcoming season. Strange move in my opinion, especially if di Maria is leaving.

What a waste. I really hope our management realizes how good he is before it's too late. I can see him doing well at Depor though, so hopefully things work out for him there and by next season he plays for us.

He should have come back to replace Di Maria, but getting experience in Spain could be worthwhile. The official site says there is no option to buy so that makes it possible next season for him to stay.

If you were going to loan him out again could of just let us keep him   lol. He was great for us during the clausura would of been awesome to keep him for the copa sudamericana and copa libertadores, we have another winger of the same age as urreta just as good and they were our main threat going forward on counter attacks. Hope he does well at depor so the he can establish himself at benfica. he's one of my big hopes for the national team since we dont really have quick wingers at the moment.

I still can't understand why this kid was loaned out. Just checked some stats and he has made 5 appearances for Depor all season? The latest being at the weekend, 80 mins in a 1-0 win over Hercules. I don't know if he has been injured or simply just out of favour.

yup he was injured, glad to see he's finally back.
