Apparently Josep is open to listening to job offers this summer after he has a few months of recharging his batteries.

I call horse shit.  I think he'll take the entire year off managing, then come back in the market next season.  He may look to take over Fergie's position :-O should he leave next season (although I heard he said he has three seasons left in him).  What if Wenger leaves?  Dun dun dun...

And who are you , the proud lord said, that I must bow so low?

Would hate to see him manage another club-team, if it's a NT then I wouldn't mind it so much.

The app on my phone quoted him as saying - "If a club wants me... and they seduce me, I will coach again."

I think that sounds more like shots at Rosell.

Yeah that's the same quote I read.  Josep is a thorough man, so if he comes back, he will be doing it for the right reasons.

Yeah, he said that indeed.  But he also said that first he would take a sabattical (sp?) year.

Incredibly lucky to savor these fours years of rich football content. Hopefully Pep's next stop is England rather than Italy.

He's gone.  Hard for that feeling to sink in.

With the move to an english speaking locale like NYC, I would think that means the Premiership is a likely next stop...and if Fergie's rumours of impending retirement are to be believed...Well, the writing is on the wall, I imagine

Nothing like an EPL-educated Pep returning to Barca - he will understand management better (free of politics), infrastructure, media, how to build a global image, and his world view will be almost complete, in addition to his experience already in Italy, mexico, middle-east. He knows he is always welcome back at Barca. And trust me, if he ever thinks his Barca is suffering or in trouble, he will be there to help. Plus I dont think he has the guts to tell Xavi, Puyi, etc that their time is over esp now when he has got so close to the players.

With Tito, i have no doubts he will be tactically astute to handle issues, but man-management & charisma - in many ways, u cant learn these. So the players and the board have to make sure they trust him and back him even more than Pep to make it a harmonious group.

I agree that Tito has less charisma than Pep, but why makes you think that his man-management will be poorer than Pep's?  From all the interviews that I've read about Tito as a coach, they all seem to mention that he's a strong character?

I'd weigh in by saying that Pep was a larger than life personality with a strong character which made him perfect for dealing with the world's best players & potential egos...Tito, is more of an unknown in this regard but even ideally, it will always be a step down from Pep simply because he was exceptional in that regard...Simply wouldn't be fair to expect that from Tito...He's going to need a Ten Cate sort of #2, IMO
