Pacheco looks like fun.

Lucas looks like true love rekindled.

Agger looks like not near his best.

Michael Bradley looks like better than all our central midfielders.

Fenway Park looks like it wasn't designed to fit a soccerball field.

Only caught the last 30 minutes but I was impressed with some of the football we played. Suso looks like a talented little player. I'm not the biggest fan of Adam but he played really well today. Pacheco also did well. He is much better than Downing and I hope he gets a chance this season. Adorjan and Wilson are shit and I don't think Flanagan will make it.

Okay, so I manage to catch a recording of the game. Some thoughts:

• Cole did quite well yesterday which was surprising but his fitness is still a major concern. He spent quite a lot of time with his hands on his knees panting like a dog. That's worrying.
  
• Carragher was fucking shit.
  
• Our passing was poor yesterday and gave me a good indication of how far we are from where Rodgers wants us to be. Our lack of support and movement especially is something which needs to be improved.
  
• We still suck at finishing.
  
• I like Pacheco and he did well again yesterday.
  
• I expect us to fully eradicate those useless cross-field passes in time. They annoy the crap outta me because they never achieve anything. And it wasn't just Adam pinging those balls. The likes of Aquilani, Spearing were all guilty. I think if we had more movement and support, we'd play less of those balls and It's obviously still early days but the sooner we move on to a short passing game the better.
  
• Adam Morgan seems like he really loves pulling on the red shirt and representing the club. I like that.
  
• Eccleston is shit.

My sister got 2 tickets to the Liverpool vs Spuds game today @ Ravens Stadium which is only like 20 mins from where I live (Washington DC) so heading off now. Good thing they're in the Liverpool section so I can go off on the scum, lol. Will try to take some pics and post later.
