Keep Di Matteo on, try to dominate Europe. Seriously though, I think Chelsea have a good set-up, they just need to continue their path towards "self-suficiency" if that's what they're still doing. As much as Manchester United has dominated England for 20 years, Chelsea have got a fair slice of that, and should continue to be there or thereabouts for another decade, just as long as Abramovich isn't going anywhere. In Di Matteo, they have someone hungry and loyal to that club, he's a Blue and he doesn't want to go anywhere else, not that any other club big enough really wants him anyway, but he has it all to prove again, and a solid platform in which to try. Even with two clubs in Manchester fighting it out, Wenger keeping Arsenal stable, and Tottenham trying to upset the party every year, Chelsea now look to be building a head of steam just when their players are entering the twilight of their careers.

The atmosphere was out of this world. Watching a side which you have supported for years on end and so deeply feel passionately about beating the opposition at their own game... Simply incredible. As it's been said before, it's also as fate was behind Chelsea for the entire tournament.
