Mancini's got this tactically wrong and it's making Downing look like Savicevic. Credit to him though he's playing well. We're probably the worst team to play wingbacks against because of the strength of our wide play.
Even though Savic has been shocking we aren't taking advantage of it. We need to put Adam really far forward and actually have him press instead of Henderson and pressure like he did against Chelsea.
Penalty was lucky but it evens out given City's ridiculous goal.
Also Gerrard is probably the second best penalty taker in the world behind Ronaldo. I think he's only missed one in the last 4 seasons and part of me thinks he misse that on purpose.
