FA Cup 3rd Round | Emirates Stadium | Monday 9th January 2012 | 19:45 (GMT)

There is so much history surrounding these two clubs, particularly in the FA Cup, which is a tournament that has witnessed monumental clashes between Arsenal and Leeds United; matches that were only decided after replays and extra time. But, on Monday night, the occasion will only be about one man: The return of the King, Thierry Henry.

According to the manager, Arsene Wenger, he will definitely play his new on-loan striker, but Henry's time on the pitch may only be limited to a brief cameo appearance. The Gunners boss has also stated he will play a strong team, so I'll be expecting an exciting game, not least because it'd mark a former Arsenal captain's return to the club he loves, a club he just "couldn't say no to".

Come on you Gunners!

Can't wait to see Henry back in uniform for you guys. Should be a special feeling for him, and for the fans.

Imo i think Henry will start on the bench, then come on with like 20-30 minutes left.

I expect similar.

RVP's got a proper rest period throughout this and is actually on holiday, which is really good for him, so he's definitely not playing. Otherwise I think we'll play a fairly strong team considering they had a week of resting and will get almost another week to rest before Swansea. I think Gervinho is at the ACON now but Chamakh is still with us how I understand it (surprised Arsenal.com haven't clarified this).

Gonna give this team a shot:

Szczesny

Yennaris Mertesacker Koscielny Miquel

Coquelin Song

Rosicky

AOC Chamakh Arshavin

Wasn't an easy team to pick. Think I'll definitely be wrong, couldn't work out who we'd play with our injuries and stuff really. I'd have thought Benayoun would start but I also expect Rosicky, Arshavin and AOC to do so so I couldn't fit him in. Unless Rosicky plays CM and Yossi plays AM. I don't really like that though.

Good luck, hope Henry scores on his return although something tells me he won't. Been wrong before though.

i would like to see Rosicky and Benayoun both from the start and maybe give some rest to Song...i hope Henry can play at least one half.

I really, really do not see the point in starting Chamakh at all. I wouldn't be surprised if Wenger starts him but I think it would be a ridiculous thing to do because he's going off to the ACN now for the next month or so. Park needs the minutes, Park is the one who is going to be here for the coming weeks when Chamakh is gone and this is a good opportunity for him to get a goal. I would play him up front, probably with Arshavin and Oxlade-Chamberlain eitherside with Henry coming on for one of the three in the second half. Obviously if Henry is 100% ready to start then go for it but if not, I'd go with Park up front.

We wouldn't have bothered keeping Chamakh back from the ACON if he wasn't going to play some part. I think he'll definitely start. I get where you're coming from though.

Some guy from Goal.com says that the front line is Walcott, AOC and Chamakh. Could definitely cause problems.

I know man, I think he probably will start, I just don't understand why when Park is in need of gametime and will be here for the coming weeks when Chamakh won't.
