WOO! Why is this thread so damn quiet when it's so close to kick off!

I bet everyone is at the actual game :(

^ I wish!

If Gerrard plays and plays in the centre of midfield, if his performance is anything similar to this same game last season then he'll end up having a great game. I've got butterflies. Stupid football.

I'm a little teapot, short and stout.

What happened?

The Reds line-up in full is: Reina, Kelly, Enrique, Carragher, Skrtel, Lucas, Adam, Gerrard, Downing, Kuyt, Suarez. Subs: Doni, Bellamy, Carroll, Henderson, Spearing, Robinson, Agger.

Good team even though Agger isn't starting.

De Gea, Smalling, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Park, Fletcher, Giggs, Jones, Young, Welbeck... Subs: Lindegaard, Anderson, Rooney, Hernandez, Carrick, Nani, Valencia

Wow, a brave move by Fergie to not start with Nani and Rooney. Never did I expect this.

tweeted Man United lineup,
De Gea, Smalling, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Park, Fletcher, Giggs, Jones, Young, Welbeck

subs:Lindegaard, Anderson, Rooney, Chicharito, Carrick, Nani, Valencia

I do *not, not, not, not, not, not, not* like this.  at all.  Fletcher, Giggs, Jones and Park in the midfield?  nope, that's not good for me.

I personally don't think leaving Rooney on the bench is the right decision. He's probably the best current United player and regardless of what's happened during the international break, he should be starting.

I never even get shocked with SAF anymore. He just picks random line-ups and beats you with them.

Pretty sure he did the same in that 2-0 win against us at OT last year in the FA Cup.

Must be his way of humiliating an opponent. Hope it bites him in the ass this time

I would've thought that as an Arsenal fan you'd want United to win. For me at least, there's no hope of Arsenal winning the league, so there's no reason to think of ourselves as contending with United but we're still contending with Liverpool for a top 4 spot.

Cagey first 15, no chances for either team really, the only talking point being Downing's dive.

Great ball in from Gerrard, but no-one could get a touch.

"When I was younger, so much younger than today. I never needed anybody's help in any way."
