Btw, if you guys still need a nickname, you can call him "Yayazo Tourinho" (That's what the Catalan press called him after he had scored some golazo's and executed some Ronaldinho-esque skills)

I'm unsure. I am a huge fan of Yaya, but he is 29, very dependent on his stamina, workrate and movement, and, I suspect, would cost a fair amount. When there are alternatives such as Banega, Valero and even Modric available, I'd consider those ahead of Yaya Toure.

The reason I prefer both Javi and Yaya is because they are defensive midfielders. Banega, Valero and Modric don't do it for me defensively. I want as complete a player as we can get.

I'd be happy as long as we get 3 good years out of him. Alas, how much did we spent on Lass, Momo Diarra, Gago, Emerson etc ? None of them played at a world class level let alone for three years. I want either Javi or Yaya as they are the most complete midfielders out there along with DDR.

We have to do whatever it takes to get Javi Martinez. Overpay if we have to. He's 23 years old and fits what we want to do with this team. I love Yaya, but the more I think about it the more going out and spending, what, 20+ MEs on him at his age isn't what we have been doing the last couple of years.

Same with signing someone like RVP. I love both players, but we need to continue with what we've been doing. Getting young and hungry players who will grow into their roles within this team and club.

Now Higuain is being linked with Juve again. Apparently they met in Madrid with us to discuss a deal for him on Wednesday.

I've just got this feeling that he isn't going to be with us next season, and usually I'm always optimistic about such things. But unlike other years, where papers link him away to another club just because, this year is definitely different. I'm not to pleased about this right now.
