And another 4 points for the Russian game giving us another impressive scoreline (12 with 1 game remaining) but this time we are gonna win for a change and probably secure our position as top points scorers in the TTPL for the entire season!

So despite scoring 11 points more than anyone else in the whole competition our season is over as we suspected as we finished 4th. In my mind, we achieved the most and were the best side in the spirit of the competition so I am damn proud of us all. The scores we achieved were massive and we were beaten by a series of mind bogglingly fluke scorelines. I will probably go on another stat rampage in a few days when my frustration at the ridiculousness of our season has passed by!

Haha, yeah. I welcome that Alan!
The TTPL is going to be re-vamped for next season with a new system, so perhaps it will reward teams like us who have finished as the top goalscorers in the whole two divisions. For instance, the top two scorers in the second division could be drawn into a a hat or something in a sort of play-off final style, whereas the bottom two lowest scorers in the first division could be thrown into a similar battle to retain their top flight status. I reckon that would reward those who are consistantly the better predictors from the second division, and punish those who might not deserve to be in the first division based on goals scored.
It makes it a little more exciting too.

Wow, we played 4 games less and scored 4 goals more over the course of the season...that is fairly fucking impressive it has to be said on our part!
