Inter MilanInter are ready for another season, after appointing new manager Gasperini as a replacement for Paris-bound Leonardo. Samu Eto'o left for greener pastures (or rather pay checks) in Russia but Sneijder remained and Uruguay-hero Forlán was reeled in, alongside Jonathan, Ricky Alvarez, Poli and Zarate. Inter 2.0 is born, with a new face and new chances. With a tricolore cockade standing proud on their chest, the Nerazurri will be looking to add other pieces in their already impressive collection of trophies in the past seasons. |

JuventusFor the Old Lady, this is a make or break season. After a few years out in the wilderness it is time for the club to hit back and really make a statement to the rest of Serie A. Unfortunately, Beppe Marotta's project is a season behind schedule - the last campaign was very much a write off, both in terms of signings and indeed results on the pitch - this summer he has looked to rectify this in appointing Juventus legend Antonio Conte as the club's new head coach and bringing to Turin excellent players such as Chilean star Arturo Vidal, Italian legend Andrea Pirlo and the mercurial Eljero Elia. However he has struggled to acquire that big name, "marquee" forward which he had spent the majority of the summer courting, eventually settling on Roma's Mirko Vucinic, who is under pressure to deliver after flattering to deceive for the majority of the past few seasons. As always with Juventus, the season is expected to be a rollercoaster, but with the club moving into a brand new, state of the art arena, expectation is as high as ever and Juventini worldwide are hoping for a very positive campaign in 2011/12. |
